Privacy Policy – Extended Clipboard History Last updated: 27 November 2025 1. Overview Extended Clipboard History (“extension”, “we”) is a Chrome extension that keeps a local history of text you copy in your browser so you can reuse it later. 2. Data we collect The extension processes only one type of data: text content that you explicitly copy or cut on web pages in Chrome. We do not collect any personal identifiers, account details, payment information, browsing history, or location data. 3. How we use the data Copied text is used solely to: • show your clipboard history inside the extension popup; • allow you to search and copy previous items again. 4. Storage and retention • All clipboard history is stored only in your browser using chrome.storage.local. • The data never leaves your device and is not sent to any external servers. • You can delete all stored data at any time by pressing the “Clear” button in the extension popup or by clearing the extension’s data in your browser settings. 5. Data sharing We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. We do not use analytics services, tracking scripts, or advertising SDKs. 6. Permissions The extension uses the following Chrome permissions: • “storage” – to store clipboard history locally in the browser; • host permission – to run a small content script on each page so it can detect when you copy text. The extension does not read or modify any other page content beyond the text that you explicitly copy. 7. Children’s privacy The extension is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children. 8. Changes to this policy We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated 27.11.2025 date. 9. Contact If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at: karpenkodanylo@gmail.com.
